How to Clean CDs and Player?
Some of my CDs have gotten grungy with fingerprints, etc. What is the best way to clean them?
Also, is it recommended that I clean the CD player internals, or just leave it alone?

For your cd's use a damp soft cloth and clean from the center out to the edge. Once clean if they skip you can pick up a cd scratch repair kit which I have only had limited success with. For your player pick up a laser cleaning disc at Wal-mart, Radio Shack or the likes for about 10 bucks that once inserted it talks you thru the cleaning process and I have had great luck with these. I would not physically go inside the player unless it was a last resort. I find that cd's now are not as scratch resistant as they use to be therefore I burn myself a extra copy every time I buy a new one and then store the original. Good luck!!! :cheers:
