Does the C6 with stock audio system (non Bose )have a amplifier for the speakers some place in the car ?
if so where is it located ?

YEs it does and its located in the passenger side footwell under the glove box.

look in the passenger foot well. the carpeting pulls back to reveal amp and fuse box. you amp should be to left of the fuse box.
