I've finially got my sound system installed and working.
my issues are:
1. the remote wire keeps the amp on even after the ignition is off and after the door has been closed and locked. (I spliced into the white wire from the rear of the head unit I believe its wire B3)
2. I'm hearing a LOUD whistle in the rear speakers (the ones I spliced) from the RPMs of the engine.
As for the whistle I'm sure i'm just hearing the rpm ohms from the engine b/c of how I spliced or layed the wires. I used an extra set of RCA female wires and spliced right into the wires that lead off of the head unit. How can I prevent the whistle?
Thank you

yes... close the car up... leave the fob in the house.. when you see the interior lights turn off the amp should turn off... trunk open=interior lights on

k. I'll try to check that.
now for the ground loop isolators, can I just attach a wire to my RCA connections and then attach it with a screw to the back of the headunit?
For the power on/off issues, you can use the wiper fuse to trigger the amp initially (when the car is started), then use B3 to keep it powered until a door is opened if you wire up 2 diodes and a relay like this:
