I wanna ROCK!!!...
I ran them as a pair @80-100 watts each while i waited for my Focals to arrive
they could really thump bass surprisingly well, especially in the c4's rear spekear cavity. The bass sounded incorrect (oval speakers) but it was impressive.. they hit almost as hard as a single 8
rated at 25-32,000hz, (32k, wtf? it had dual tweeters) with 93.5db sensitivity, or something like that.
They couldn't play 50hz with the volume up real high, and distorted when I tried playing anything lower. I'm sure you'll find the same with the 6x9's you buy.
The C4 tends to have this VERY annoying ressonance I'm trying to pinpoint. I mean it is LOUD. Old Metallica CD's seem to spend a lot of time with this frequency. I think it's around 120hz... which is higher than a sub *should* be playing.. never had resonance with either of my old subs.
My Pioneer head unit could tune it out, but my Clarion can't. Oh well, I just wont listen to Justice for All :)
