Fried my driver's side front speaker today Looking for an aftermarket *direct* replacement - don't want to cut anything, change any wires or anything - just remove and replace.
The fit guides on the major websites came up with nada - although some of the threads I searched noted that Polk, Infinity and others had solutions...but it may just be that they need special mounting.
I'm honestly pretty happy with the Bose system, not being a serious audiophile - if that's the quickest, easiest way to go I'm cool with that
which speaker the lower woofer or twiddler on top. if twiddler just go get some 3.5 coaxials. if the woofer in the lower part of the door then your will need to find a used one
Polk db351 or Boston Acoustic S35 are very popular dirct replacements that sound better than the oem paper speakers. IIRC the C5 door twiddlers have push on spades, so any aftermarket 3.5" should be plug-n-play.
