I got into the Vette audio systems because I am a Vette owner first and foremost and our cars need some serious help in road noise reduction and to have an audio system worthy of these incredible cars. The time and money I spend on this is a net loss compared to my core business but I just had to do something as the majority of things being offered was not up to the standards these cars deserve.

Dealing with suppliers, manf and shippers is the hard part of this business, with today's work force mostly comprising those of very little work ethic just getting things made has become increasingly difficult, to say the least. I am more frustrated about the sub enclosures that probably everyone combine, a hundred times over. I would of given up long ago if I did not feel the need to offer them.

Then I have Arc Audio, they are a blessing to me as they get it, they care, they build gear far better than the main stream companies, they are true enthusiasts and I am OEM licensed to offer Corvette specific audio packages, the only cars I car to deal with.

ID, was the same kind of company, was that is, ID is not the same since Eric Stevens, founder and head engineer was forced out of his company by a business partner he wished he had never taken on. I was OEM with them as well. I will be with the new brand Eric is working on and will offer HLCD systems for those that really want it over the top.

Hybrid Audio, same deal, OEM, same true enthusiast based company.

JL, telling the truth about a brand name that is a very good company in most respects that mostly sells decent but not stellar nor best for the money is not something I take lightly but feel it is important enough to do so. For those that want better, I offer it, for the many that do not know the difference, when I see products mentioned that are not as good as you can get for the money, I just want to make sure everyone knows the truth.

If I step on a few toes, not my intention, the truth is what it is, some chose to believe otherwise which is their choice to make.

AND, many are happy with the upper middle of the road, no matter if there might be something better, that is perfectly wonderful, many times I wish I could be that way, life would be easier, but I was exposed to the best and permanently changed.

Everyone has their own level of satisfaction, I just like to open the door to what lies beyond what most have experienced and many see what I see once that happens, hear it, feel it, live it, this is about passion for things yet unknown, I love to share it and so I do.
