I am wondering how many out there are using sound processors on their convertible Corvettes? I have ARC Minis, Stealth boxes with ID subs and ID components in the doors. I have the Pioneer Z130-BT HU.
I have the chance to buy a Rockforrd 3SIXTY.2 for cheap with Palm Pilot. The unit is like new.
I'm using the 3Sixty.2 in my Coupe, and the top is always off the car. Really good unit, which is pretty picky about setup. Gives a ton of control, especially with more elaborate systems. A little on the noisy side, but nothing that would be very noticeable in a vert.
The XEQ is a great piece, I stock them for my systems and use one in my Vette but will switch to the new digital unit when it comes out
For those wanting something simple to setup and run, make the system sound much better than no EQ, line driver for the amps, etc....hard to beat the XEQ.
Anybody out there that uses sound processors out there in their C6 Convertibles? Got any pictures where you mounted them? Thanks in advance for your help!
Either go with AudioControl's DQXS or go home to cry, it does everything. I had it in my C5 and am about to re-install it in my C6. It was frigging amazing as to the complete control of all things audio. On my new install I'm putting 2 Arc amps in the footwell and the DQXS behind the pass. seat, with the wired remote control in the center console ...

Very nice diagram. Do you have any pictures of the processor installed?

I never took shots when it was in my C5 , but will be mounting it the same way in my C6 - behind the pass. seat, with amps in the footwell. I ran the HU wires to the PAC, then to the Matrix, then to the DQXS, and then to the 2 separate amps (4 ch. & 5 ch.). It fit fine there, used epoxied elevator bolts (instead of a plywood base) to mount it. Then ran the wired remote to inside the center armrest. It was amazing how it controlled all levels and 32 bands of EQ! I had 8 separate settings saved to the preset buttons. I added a PDF to my post above, if that helps you with planning.
I'll be doing a full photo-install post in a couple of weeks, still waiting for a few things to come in ...
Hey..by the way...my brother lives in Mt. Pleasant, NC! It is just a small spot in NASH CO in the country. You pass in and out of it and not even know you were there!

I think every state has a Mt. Pleasant, I have a cousin in Mt. P, Michigan. I was so hoping the heels would rise last weekend, dag-nab it, but BBall is almost here. So do you have the processor yet or still figuring the whole thing?
