Ideally, you need the fuse inside the distribution block itself. 30amp seems awful big for that gauge wire. Maybe 5 or 10? I doubt the LC6 takes a ton of juice.

As far a which model: Base that on your budget. I'm pretty sure they have most on the wall at CAI.

Those wires are probably closer to 12-14 gauge. How would I fuse the inside of the block? No way to fit any fuses there. Maybe just outside the block but would be easier to fuse near the LC6 and amp.

What about these for door speakers: XS-65 - Image Dynamics 6.5" 2 Way Component System

Or is this overkill for what I already have?

ID speakers are good too, but with what's going on with ID now I dunno...

wrt fusing:

Replace it with an actual fused distro block.

They make combo blocks... I'm using a streetwires one:

Bottom right.

since the lc6 is probally going and possiably the eq i wouldnt change distros yet. even if you keep the eq you can always add a fuse holder a few inches off of the distro and be protected

a small inline fuse holder right out of the block would be a cost effective way to go.

Kale,

I am ordering a pair of Diamond Audio HEX H600S component speakers from a forum vendor for the doors. That will give me all Diamond Audio speakers and AMP. I will then go to either Car Audio Innovations or Rolling Audio who are both in Roseville and have them install the speakers and check everything for correct wiring, fuses, and set up for best sound. Thanks for all your and other forum members help!
