C6 Dash Speaker Adapter Same As Door?

Does anyone know if the Metra 72-4568 GM adapter will also work for the dash speaker? Crutchfield shows no harness available.

I am replacing the door 3.5 tweeters so I may as well replace the dash speaker with the same speaker. I have a convertible so I would rather replace it than unplug it.

For what comes out of that center speaker I don't think you will gain anything by replacing it.

x2 for don't bother replacing if you're not unplugging, but to answer your question the plug is identical to the rest of them.

I have all my chimes coming out of the center speaker. No music!

No music and only chimes?

He lost me. Anyway, disconnecting the dash speaker helped. I will get the tweeters installed when the dampening material for the doors arrives. Slowly but surely I will get this so called "Bose Premium Sound" sounding good. I would never by Bose home speakers after listening to their car audio.
