combination sub box, amp rack and bins..... box has auxillary plug, sub adjustment and LED toggle switch all mounted in center cubby hole between the two bins.
Still have room in back for carry on luggage and both back bins are empty and useable. Top fits easily and no need for partition.
Thanks to Dennis for 90% of the equipment

I am glad to have been a part of this with you! Been great talking about the project and helping out the best I can!
Always great making a new new friend along the way as well!!
How does the subs sound in the box?
Dennis

We have been working on a design with this type of set up for a couple of months.
Dennis it sounds excellent but i need to tweak a little more, I have never tuned a system. I am trying to find the correct baseline of settings. I didnt install the tweets in the rear but have the crossovers set and the wires running to the rear speakers so all i have to do is pull panel and add the tweets which i think I am going to do. I played with the sound only using the front stage and my wife and i both like the fill the rears add. This leads me to the decision to go ahead and try it with the tweets back there as well (Focal PS 130's in rear, came with tweets but didnt use them - yet). I am going to mount them with double stick tape first so I can move them around for best position and to see IF i like it with them.
I must have either pinched a RCA cable or have one thats bad because my right front goes out sometimes and when I wiggle that RCA cable at the amp the right front starts to play again.
Regarding the design...
We thought about an option that would combine bins with a sub box and amp rack and still allow plenty of storage in the back. I can lay a carry on luggage back there and still utilize the factory bins for storage. All crossovers are mounted below shelf that amp rack sits on so everything is in one spot for easy access. Most of the extra weight that is added is right over your rear wheels for some extra traction "if" needed.

The only thing to complete on the unit is pull handles for the bin lids, I think I am going to try and weave a few short pieces of leather together into a pencil sized (diameter) strand for lid pulls. That may look cool????? Or I may use the standard "push-down and they pop-up.
This is the crossovers mounted below the amp in the box still need to finish wiring the one set in the photo. They are mounted using heavy duty velcro

This is the amp installed with the blue LED's on each side, there are 4 sets of LEDS. Two sets (on the amp and in the middle bin) are controlled by a toggle switch mounted in center bin. Two sets mounted in storage bins that are tied into dome lighting.

This is the H/U installed
