Back up camera install on AVIC x930bt
On 2004 C5 A4. I know i am supposed to wire the violet/white wire to the wire that changes voltage on the switch at the shifter. There is a connector with 4 wires toward the front of the shifter. Colors gray, black, green/wht and orange. Can someone tell me if one of these wires is the correct wire? Left my meter at the office and don't want to drive back to get it with wires hanging out everywhere! Tried search and didn't dig up answer. Thanks

AFAIK there isn't a reverse signal inside the cabin of a C5, you need to run the signal wire back to the reverse lights when you run the video cable. Connect your purple wire to the light green wire at one of the reverse lights.
