RAP stuck on
I picked the car up from the shop. When I shut down, the RAP (radio) was stuck on. I pulled fuse #5 and reset it--seems OK now. They flashed the PCM for a fuel gage fix--would this cause something goofy to happen to RAP? [ I do have a Metra harness]
Update: Seems to be fine now after reseting fuse #5. Tried it a bunch of times while fixing a broken turn signal socket

as I have said a few dozens times
toss the Metra xsvi2004 in the garbage and use the Pac roem-vet1
The Metra harness is known to have this issue and will happen again to you and more than likely you will have a dead battery.
this is why we use the roem-vet1 harness in all our packages
and its alot less in cost

The first round of stereo mods in my C6 I used a Scosche interface adapter. All sorts of weird things happened with the radio not turning off sometimes, turning off unexpectedly sometimes, and even not turning on at all on occasion.
I got a PAC adapter and it hasn't done one thing goofy. The chimes are even identical to oem.
