Caught by Laser.
I got caught for speeding by laser. My radar detector (a BEL Express 926, which is supposed to pick up laser, ka, k, x) never went off. Is laser so accurate that a cop can get you & your detector not even go off?

What Pip said. I read somewhere ( Valentine brochure I think) that the laser at 1/4 mile is 4 feet in diameter. NOt exactly sure about that distance. But if he was closer the beam would be narrower.
