Default Bose Delco

I just replaced my Bose Delco stereo with an updated Kenwood and 4 new front and rear speakers.

My question: Is there a market for these? I wanted a better sounding system and do not acre so much about stock equipment. I know there are those that would disagree, but hey its a car and I want to listen to quality music.

Curious whether it is better to box it all up and save it or just throw it out there for sale.

Thanks

Was the HU a Nav? Lots of people are looking to buy factory Nav. Same with the speakers. I actually gave my factory speakers away to someone that needed them. I replaced the HU in my previous car and kept the factory one for 10 years. I put it back in when I sold it. I think if you don't plan on selling it keeping it is the next best thing just in case you want to put it back for some reason down the road.

No Nav, just a cassette deck with AM/FM. I was figuring keeping it unless it was worth big bucks which to me is about $200.

With cassette I doubt it's worth much.
Do they even make cassette tapes anymore?

I'm keeping all of my oem gear for when I eventually sell the car. Aftermarket gear doesn't add anything to the resale price of the car, and in some cases may actually hurt.

im thinking along the same lines as the op. i just bought a new 2012 coupe a few weeks ago and im considering taking out the bose/nav hu and putting in a kenwood dnx 6180 which i also had in my previous car(i sold it with it in it). although the bose (imop)sounds pretty good the nav part of it sucks. too hard to use, to complicated to read and to me just not user friendly. the dnx on the other hand is very easy to use, gives better directions and gives way more info all being very user friendly. so what is my oem bose/nav unit worth?(it is basically brand new). do i have to be a supporting member to solicitate anything on this forum or can i just throw out a feeler in the audio/ elec section. im going to put the harness in and leave the bose/onstar system intact. thanks ron

I've seen the factory nav sell for $400-$600. Put it in the for sale section. You don't have to be a supporting member to sell stuff in the for sale section.
