Default How much Ensolite and BXT do I need

I am starting to gather the necessary stuff to upgrade the car audio and wanted to know how much of this stuff I need to get. I want to do the doors and the back hatch area (including the wheel wells).

I believe 1 box + 3 yards is minimum required for 'full' coverage in a vette.

I went with 1 box + 4.5 yards, barely had any ensolite left but I covered EVERYTHING.

1.5 box BXT would let you cover most of the flat surfaces, not just the larger areas.

I went with 1 box of BXT II and ran out before I could do the doors. I agree with needing about 1.5 boxes.

If you do 100% coverage in the rear, the area behind the seats and do quite a bit in the doors then 1.5 "boxes" of BXT II will do the job exceptionally well.

If you want to save some weight and do a very careful placement of the mat the most needed places you can get close to the sale level of deadening with just one box.

As for the Ensolite, 3 yards is the minimal order, 4.5 if you want to do the tunnel and floors but some get 5 yards and cover every sq inch.

I offer aluminum channels to stiffen the door skins so less BXT II is needed as well as Alumalite filler panels for the door access holes which are huge and need to be covered, only 11 oz each as well. I have Alumalite speaker mounting baffles for C5 and C6, pre covered in Ensolite, C5 less than 4 oz each, Ct just 4.5 oz each. These were developed to allow the minimal amount of BXT II in each door yet provide a great deal of stiffening, deadening and road noise reduction but not need much mat to save quite a bit of weight.

Since these are Supercars I do all I can to keep the weight down so that is my primary focus in what I offer though some are less concerned with weight and want a higher level of deadening.

Some of the Z06 and ZR1 owners want even less weight and just get 1/2 pack of BXT II and 2 yards of the PS Ensolite.

Have a great day
Rick

"Boxes" I have a new sheet size of BXT II to take advantage of USPS priority mail boxes when the order fits them as well as saving on manf, freight, and to be a bit greener as less cardboard is used and I reuse some of the packaging as well. This is to help maintain the best products for the money I can possibly offer, BXT II is world class deadening, just the best deal there is, as for the last 12 years when I started out with RAAMmat, then RAAMmat BXT and now RAAMmat BXT II

Default RAAMmat BXT II and Ensolite, order now if needed right away

I try to keep a great deal of inventory but we have had three record breaking sales periods in a row, right before Tday, Xmax and post New Year.

I am currently down to just a few yards of PS Ensolite but have quite a bit of the regular glue on version I sold for many years before they perfected the PS version. I also have the best adhesive I have ever found in a spray can, plenty in stock as well.

BXT II, VERY low inventory, more is being made but I will be out in a few days and we just got fully restocked the 22nd of Dec. I do not have a date yet for the new inventory to arrive but will get it here as soon as possible.

I am incredibly blessed to be so busy in this economy but it did catch me a bit off guard, normally quite busy but this has been beyond belief!

Just letting you know, need some right away, please order now so I can get you taken care of.

Sincerely,
Rick
