Bazooka tubes
Has anyone ever installed a self powered Bazooka tube as the only audio upgrade in any kind of car, and how was the results.

I briefly had one in my C5. It added some punch, but just wasn't enough. You can do better with a cheap sub in a DIY box.

I've got an 8" bazooka tube in my c6 with the 200 watt amp - BTA8250D. It made a huge difference. I wouldn't go with the 100 watt amp.
It's not perfect with all types of music, but for the price, it works well.

In my wifes car the factory radio sounds real good just lacks a little bass on certain songs plus I need to easily remove the unit so the tube I felt might be a good option.
