Don't know from experience, but I would bet it is a safe guess that it will not be easy. I'm sure it is "taped" up into the factory wiring harness that runs everying from brake lights to traction control.
I don't even think I would attempt this one. :nonod:
I think it's routed along the passenger side of the car, from the trunk to the footwell, where it connects to another harness that goes up to the radio.
At minimum, you woul need to remove the sill plate and pull up the carpeting front to rear. I suggest leave it and ask the changer buyer to get their own new harness.
Its really not that hard.
You have to remove the panels from the footwell , door sill, trunk side panels
and one by one simply un-plug the harness.
BTW.....I'm looking for a changer...I have a bad one that needs to be replaced.
I don't need the harness, just the CD changer........might save ya' some time,
in having to remove it ????
what would you want for the changer alone??
OK, 2000RagTop will buy your changer and I will buy your harness. There, you just sold everything!!!!!!!!!!! Give me an email if this is agreeable. :smash:
