Amp installation question

Default Amp installation question
I am installing an amp in my C5. Do I need to hook the amp power directly to the battery terminal or can I hook it to the stud that is in the underhood fuse box? If it needs to go to the battery I'll need some sort of extender/adaptor since it is a side terminal battery.

what size is the amp

It is a Kenwood Excelon XR-5s 5 channel mini amp.

do a sidepost battery terminal adapter, most autoparts stores cary them

Connected mine to the positive stud in the underhood fuse box
Works perfect.

Same amp, I connect mine to the post on the side of the fuse box. I have the top post setup on my battery
