Default Bluetooth in base 2009

I have searched the Forum and read threads about installing bluetooth in c6's. My goal is to use the OnStar microphone and base radio (non-Bose/non-NAV) that came with my LT1 Vette along with the BT steering wheel controls from a 2012. When playing, I would like the radio/cd volume to mute when using my iPhone through the speakers. When I purchased the BT steering wheel controls, an Axxess ASWC interface was included.
I have read about the Costar BLUESTAR 2010, but it appears that the mirror OnStar controls are used instead of the steering wheel ones.

After finding some pictures of 2010 GS's with out NAV that apparently use the wheel controls, I have hope that my goal can be reached.

Any help/suggestions are greatfully appreciated.

C6 prints are HERE

If you don't already have the radio volume controls on your current steering wheel you'll probably need a new clockspring also. There are DIY threads about that in C6 Gen.
