98 corvette stereo stays on
I bought a bunch of stereo equipment and had them install it. But the stereo won't turn off. I took it back to them and they said they reset some module. But it keep s happening. I have no idea what it could be. Should I have them replace the deck or what. Please help. I have already had to replace my battery once. Thanks

what harness did they use?
Does it stay on all the time?

5.00 says they used the Metra Harness
This harness is known for this and is the reason we never use it in any of our packages or installs.
My suggestion is to go back to them
tell them to install the Pac Audio ROEM-VET1 harness and refund you some money as the Pac harness is cheaper.
This is my guess as to what solve your issues

Did it ever work the way it should?
If not it may just be wired straight to the hot wire
If they can't get the adapter working properly, tell them to just use the YELLOW wire from the accesory power pigtail as the HU switched trigger source. You'll lose RAP, but the battery won't go dead every night.
