I was a huge audio guy in the 90's, so I'm very up on JL and Fosgate. But Arc is new to me. I have seen great things about them, will investigate more. Would they be comparable to Fosgate and JL? Lol, I remember when Cerwin Vega was the best lol! Also, where can I contact Marc for this setup?
I like the deal on double d mods for 2 10s. I can remove the box if I'm doing a show or need to put both congas in the back. Then spring time I can get a custom enclosure if I want to. This might just work and the price is right! So I wonder what amp will work. I will run components but not going to spend 900 for the ZR line. I have had expensive Boston Acoustics and they didn't sound a ton better than other speakers I've heard. Its all about different taste and what music you listen to. But if I go with 2 subs, then maybe I will do two small (in size, not power) amps that are 2 channel. They are usually a better price than multi channel amps.
I kind of stopped playing music through ipod. On my iphone 3g music took up so much space so I don't have any songs on my iphone 4s. And I have an ipod but the problem is what ever you do on itunes I can't find a way to keep it off the phone.
Dennis, which amps do you recommend for the 2 arc 10s set-up? To keep the car audio shop here happy I will probably buy a fosgate amp from them. Almost thinking about adding the highs later, I have some other mods I that take priority over that for now. But adding the subs (with amp of course), and then changing frequency range for the highs will help a lot I think until winter time. Any thoughts?
Reason I think I may wait on the highs is the installation cost will go up and i need that money for under the hood cosmetic upgrades and another interior upgrade before this big show in September, so audio won't be the immediate concern, but it would be nice to add the subs in august.

Let the ipod do the automatic full sync, but when you connect the phone you have to go into the settings tabs (after clicking on the phone on the left column) and prevent it from automatic sync, then check off only the playlists that you want on your phone.
On the same computer I have 2 ipods that both do the full sync (4000+ songs and ~15 movies), plus my iphone4 that only gets a few selected playlists (~1500 songs) and no movies.
