You should post this in the general C6 forum under electronics and you will get a better response about your question. I would say upgrade to after market.
There is a way to tap into the xm wires behind the radio to add a 3.5mm jack on most xm equipped Chevrolet vehicles. Have done it on many trucks myself. Ill try to find a link for you, if that's something you'd be interested in... otherwise there are plenty of modules to add an iphone input to a factory radio.
Yes please if you could fine it weill help me out a lot. I have email Ray @ kawal.

Heres a pretty good writeup that i actually used. The c6 connectors may be different, but im pretty sure the wire colors are the same. GM usually sticks with the same wire colors... it may not be step by step for a corvette but maybe it will get you going in the right direction. And if this does work or you find a way that works please take pics during and share back! But hope that helps! I did the one in the avalanche for less than $5 and it works GREAT!
This page shows how to wire the aux input into the CD changer of a C5. C6 prints are here. The C6 XM wire colors look like they natch the C5 changer colors. In C6 the XM box is on top of the drivers side rear wheel hump, up under the plastic trim, unless you have a vert then is under the waterfall.
If you aren't using the XM, you can splice into wires without a relay or switch. If you still listen to XM you need to install the switch/relay so you can swap between them. (the car will still think you're on XM, but the audio will just be coming from the aux jack)
