Radio Data Bus interface ?
Finally upgrading the radio in my 2005 C6. There are a few different brands of data bus interface units that retain the factory chimes. They all have mixed reviews as far as reliability. Any ideas on which is the best ?

Contact Dennis at DD Mods, he's a forum vendor and can hook you up with exactly what you need. I think that he sells PAC adapters with most of his Corvette audio packages. There are a couple of them based on what options you have in your car, and Dennis will be able to point you in the right direction.

If you don't have onstar get the C2R-GM24
C6 only has one amp, and I believe that link is for C4 (it sure isn't for C5 or C6). That may be good info, but not for the OP 
The Bose system of Corvette requires all four Amplifiers to power-up and operate any time the tuner is turned on. This means in 'real world' service, the amplifiers frequently see more hours of duty than any other component on the car. Electronic components have no particular life expectancy, but do seem doomed to failure sooner or later.
