Having problems playing mp3's beyond no.6
Okay.... maybe I'm just stupid but I have tried to produce an mp3 CD with approx 85 songs. The player just won't play beyond no. 6 and even with this, it wants to repeat the odd song. I have tried 3 different CD mfrs with litlle or no difference. I have burned 15 songs using Nero and producing a normal .cda CD and it plays fine. The 85 song CD will play fine in the computer, or in other devices without any problems. Normally I would produce the CD using Nero Jukebox which works quite wll except for my car.... 2006 Z06 with NAV.
I thought perhaps someone here might have experience this as well and maybe could shed some light on the issue.
Any help would be appreciated!

This thread has instructions to follow, but I'd guess that isn't your issue since the first six songs play.
It could be an issue with the name of song 7, does it have an extremely long name or any special characters?
Maybe try burning the same 85 songs in reverse order to see what happens.

Thanks for the reply. I will try a number of combinations and see if this will work. If I remember right...when I bought the car I had no problems with mp3 disks.
