I have one of these for my aftermarket h/u and Bose amp in my 2007 Z06. Now I am changing to an aftermarket amp. How do I connect the RCA's from the new amp to the radio?
If your interface adapter connects the radio to car with spliced speaker wires you can leave them as-is and just connect the new amp RCA's to the previously unused radio RCA's, then also pull AMP fuse #31 under the hood to disable oem amp/speakers.
If your interface adapter connects the radio to car via RCA cords, just unplug harness from the car end and attach RCA's that reach to the amp. You may also want to pull fuse 31 to make sure oem amp doesn't cause any issues.
Either way, you'll also need to run a power trigger wire from harness to the new amp. Odds are it's a red wire coming out of the interface adapter box. Leave it connected to the interface adapter, just splice into it for the new amp.
