C5 speaker Replacement ?
Ok before I go and get ripped off at a shop I wanted to run it by my Corvette Bros here in the forum.
I want to up grade my speakers and maybe add a amp
HELP!!! :D
OPPS...... I forgot to mention...... I have a 01 C5 Coupe with in dash CD player

It depends on what you want ... I would go to a local shop and listen to what you like ... but then if you are going to do your own install ... buy them from the web ... otherwise ... find a place that the installer is okay to buy from ...

No Problem ... if you are getting a complete system ... you will be doing yourself a favor ... I would reccommend that you buy at Least the Medium piced units ... the C5 is not a "good" sound stage ... so unlike in a big SUV ... expensive speakers are really pointless ...

Hi Looks like we are both from the same neck of the woods. I am also in Oceanside and guess what I have a Mill yellow 02. Anyways I went to Al and Eds in Vista and upgraded my speakers with MB Quarts driven by Fosgate Amps and a Pioneer Priemer HU. The sould is excellent. If you are interested in hearing how my setup sounds we could meet at Starbucks by Bestbuy some time.
