Putting a pad in the dash
My idea is to replace the factory NAV unit with a small Android pad in the dash so that I can use the pad as my music player and NAV unit.
I imagine I'd have to change out all the Bose speakers if I did this right? Is there any way to accomplish this and still use the Bose speakers?
More details will be posted on Jan 8th

If you're looking to do this on your own, then you'll want to check the C6 sticky at the top of this forum section to find the radio schematics and diagrams. On there, you'll find the GM/Delphi part numbers for the radio plugs. For example, Radio plug C1 is part number 12110088.
Then go to Mouser.com and do a search for that part number... you'll find the plug, plus the pins and the opposite mating plug(s) as well. From there, you can make up your own wiring harness that is 'plug and play' from where the stock radio was located.
On that new plug, you'll want to connect the headphone output from the tablet to the low-level inputs to the amp. You'll also want to connect the 'antenna enable signal' at the amp to a source that turns on when you want to listen to the stereo. (Either on all the time in the accessory position, or mount a power switch somewhere, etc...)
Hope this helps.
