MDF vs Plexiglass sub boxes
Will MDF vs Plexiglass make a diff in my subs...i know MDF and regular particle board will be diff but what about plexiglass? I found this cool looking box on ebay that gave me an idea... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=1359189097

Plexi boxes are very rigid and look killer, but they scratch very very easy. +'s and -'s in every choice. Sound quality you really won't notice a difference as long as the box is secured and not just lying in the back. Plus it depends on how much power you'll run to it as well.

I had an MDF box inside the car ... with a Plexi cover ... I painted the inside of the MDF black ... and threw a black light into the box ... it looked cool ...

SQ wise very small difference. MDF is cheaper, easier to work with, and not as easily damaged.
MDF is MUCH easier to work with! :lol:
