Alpine INE-S920HD pre-install questions
I am about to do a small stereo in my 2010 Z06 because I intend on commuting to work in it more often.
I am looking at the Alpine INE-S920HD HU. I am set on this one and not considering Kenwood or Pioneer decks at this time. I am set on this because I'm trying to convince my Dad to do a similar stereo in his ZR1 and he wants a "Factory Looking HU" so the **** and layout play somewhat into that.
Where I get lost is what do I need to wire the HU for a C6 with Onstar and Bose and factory Bluetooth.
I want to keep the Onstar, obviously Bose gone with new system.
Are these the parts I need:
PAC OS-2C
PAC CM-1
PAC SWI-Jack
Does the factory bluetooth get removed at this point or is it not part of the radio?
What happens to the voice button can the SWI-Jack use the bluetooth/voice button to answer calls via the Alpine (pretty sure it does not have voice recognition so not intended to use it to dial calls)

If you're keeping stock amp/speakers you need the OS-2C-Bose
Stock BT won't work any more, you'll need to use BT on new radio.
If you retain BT button function with aftermarket HU depends on if SWI and HU are both capable of that by remote. You'll have to check the specs for both. I don't think the SWI-Jack has BT, but other SWI models do.
