Quick OS-2C-Bose & Chime Module Question
Okay, I'm a little unsure about a choice to install the Chime module. I'm installing a new HU this weekend and currently have BOSE in my 2008 C6. According to the instructions, if you have 'Premium Bose' the module isn't necessary and they define "premium" as cars with more than 3 EQ settings. I checked and my car has a bunch more than 3 so I assume I've got Premium Bose. Given that, I wasn't planning on installing the chime module, but I hate to go through it all and find out it's still needed. I haven't found a thread here that mentions NOT installing it so hence, I'm curious if the C6 might be different and require it at all times....
