C4 Complete Sound System Upgrade - Wiring Problems :(
I have a 95 coupe that used to have a Bose system in it. I purchased a new amp, head unit, speakers and sub, with the intention of replacing the entire stereo system. Speaker, amp, and sub installation have been no problem whatsoever. However, the head unit is posing some issues. We purchased a wiring harness from Best Buy, only to find out it didn't work. We went back to best buy and they swore up and down that it was the right harness, but we returned it anyway, with the intentions of purchasing one off amazon. Well, we figured out the problem. We were trying to install the harness in the front of the car with the head unit - not in the back where the old radio receiver used to be. This wouldn't be an issue, except for the fact that my buddy got a little wire cutter happy and chopped all the wires out that went into the old receiver and tore out all the wiring. SOOOOO we have to run all new wiring to the head unit :/
So, could I possibly get some guidance on what to do next?
