vintage stewart warner tach

Hi i found this old tach in back of a 67 camaro its in the box with the sending unit doesnt ever look like its been used.. Does any know anything about them?

stewart warner tach

My late father raced a 1934 Hudson sedan circle track car in the late 1950's and early 1960's. The tach that you show in your post resembles the one my dad had. I still have his tach which has the numbers 4-63...429370 on the back face of the tack inside the chrome cover. The date 4-63 must mean that it was produced in that year. I am interested in more information about the tach in your post.
