Can I use the Bose woofers on a non-Bose system? I am looking for a simple plug and play solution to the blown 8" woofer currently in the door of my car. I would love to put the stock 8" woofer back in, BUT...... I can't seem to find one to replace it with. Anyone have any suggestions or input?
PS - I like the sound of the motor and just to drive the car. I really don't want to put amps and speakers in the car. I just wanna plug something in so I have some sort of music while I drive.
You could try Clearwater Audio , They make ( don't laugh ) replacement speakers for Miatas. they sell replacement 8" Bose woofers ( which are 1 0hm ) Look at the CWC-9B. If you contact them they may sell you a single woofer, but I would try to get a pair, so they are matched.
Disclaimer- I am not affiliated with Clearwater Audio, Your post got me thinking it could work for you.
