Memory card reader ?
Hey guys - please chime in here ... I currently have an '08 Z with the bose/nav unit -- and the previous owner has installed an Ipod adaptor that has since stopped working (only the left speakers play) . I am looking to upgrade it instead of replace it - my question is ..
Does anyone know of an aftermarket external SD memory card reader that can be installed that works with the stock bose/nav unit? Or perhaps an external USB adaptor which can then take a card reader ?

The only adapters I've seen for oem C6 radios will either directly connect an ipod for control from the HU or they simply allow for direct audio input with control of music being done at the source.
If you don't already have an MP3 player of some type, you need to start there. I bought a refurbished ipod classic that is dedicated to my glove box.

How about something like this?
Maybe something like this?
Understand that you'll still need an adapter to plug it into your HU, and you won't get any digital data information over an analog connection, but if you are looking for an inexpensive solution, this might be it.
