C4 Install complete (phase 1)
Had the radio and speakers installed today, have to order a CD/DVD changer and new screen as my components wont work. Will be going back to have the subs/amp/changer installed next weekend, then once the other parts come in, the system will be completed.
Then I can get started on making more HP to move all this extra weight!!

Re: C4 Install complete (LT1TKO)
Yes they are 6.5 in the rear and they sound GREAT!! I am putting the same brand speaker in the front and will only use radio power on the components.
My enclosure will have (2) 12" powered by an old-school Orion 225 HCCA red competition amplifier and a flush mounted DVD/CD changer.
Pics will be available next weekend...

Install looks nice.
Where are you going to put the screen at???
Also, why did you reuse the rear bose enclosures instead of cutting a piece of MDF and fitting the rear speaker in there?
Just curious.

Re: C4 Install complete (LPDesRoche)
Wanted to make sure I could go back to stock at any given time without having to buy new parts and doing it this way works best.
The screen is going in the passenger visor.
Also, just found a 6-disc changer in my closet, that saves me money from buying a new one!! :)

What size are you using in the front?
Did you run new wire also?
Thanks

Re: C4 Install complete (DAC)
Used Clarion's up front also (2-ways). They are 4.5" and yes, I DID have to rewire the whole car. Or shall I say, the shop I went to had to do the whole car. It took them 7 hours to do the install.
