I've already got the speakers mounted in them and plan to install tomorrow or the next day. It's not worth delaying the install unless these don't fit the car for some reason

I just emailed you a copy of refund as well
I am sorry
We cut a couple of these quick at least 2 years ago to see if the lighter weight plywood and birch would work. Never used them and they were laying around. I hope the other cheap set was never sent out.
Will have to check tomorrow and make sure
should have just made your own..$8 piece of mdf and black spray paint. Took me about an hour to do tweeter plates and mid woofer plates. Real easy if you have a jig saw and drill

the adapters were $10, it would cost me more for a small sheet of mdf, a pack of blades for my jigsaw and a can of spray paint. Not to mention, I didn't want to and I kind of figured they wouldn't suck.
had to hog the mounting holes out a little but they mostly fit and the image dynamics components I put in sound RIDICULOUSLY good, so no chance I'm opening these doors up again. no need to waste the $ on sending the newer ones.

ok
these are out of Birch
Good to know on the sound. I will maybe switch all of them to this.
I still refunded you as well for our error and your extra work

thanks,
they don't seal completely and I was worried about some rattling where they bow outward but as of yet there is none and I'll add a sub here in a few months anyway so I see no issues with the birch. It's a little soft but I would use the speaker "nuts" on the back of the panel to hold them down anyway so...
