I've been scuffing the door sill with my shoes and it took about an hour of concerted cleaning to get the marks off. So, I decided to turn on the seat memory thing again so the seat will move back to the back position when the engine is off. It no longer works.
I have the Pioneer Z140BH installed and it has the magic connector thingie (OS2C-Bose 05-09 Onstar & Bose) to get tone dings, steering wheel controls, and all of that stuff. However, it seems that the seat memory is just a fond memory now. Did I dork up the install or is this simply a "fact" that you lose the seat memory function too?
Radio install has nothing to do with memory seats.
You have to 'program' the rear position just like the diving position, move the seat back to your unloading spot and hold down the center button for a few seconds. Depending on your interface it may or may not beep, but it should program the position after a few seconds. I believe you also have to 'enable' that feature on the DIC.
