IPOD vs Changer

04 Vet. Delco radio, pioneer changer (12). Changer plays somewhat. Not all buttons on radio activate correctly the changer. Changer is connected. IPOD connected to radio. iSimple. Not sure which cable (2 or 4). When changer is not conected, IPOD plays for 10 seconds, then radio comes on. I disconnect IPOD. Changer is connected. IPOD is connected. IPOD will not play. Suggestions would certainly be appreciated.

Problem Soilved

Took dash apart. Appears that dip switches on iSimple are correct. However, the iSimple is a Version 4, not a Version 2. From what I have read, the Version 4 is only used when you plan to use the changer. Wires runn back to the radio. If not, you need to use a Version 2. Does anyone know if this is correct?
