Default Connecting aux device using usb

I have a 2013 c6 and i was wondering if a tablets like the galaxy note 10.1 or ipad can be connected using the usb in the armrest and will this charge the tablet. I know it will work with iphones and pods. Any info will be help full thanks

it will charge but not play any music.

My iPad mini won't even charge using the USB connection in my 2011 Vette.

buy a pac interface for 60$ and plug it inline. That's what I did for my c5.

If you have the Nav it's in the center armrest. Non-nav I thought it was still on the radio face, but not sure.
