Thanks for the reply, but I'm actually hoping to install a carputer that I'm wanting to build myself and was hoping someone might could give me a measurement so that I wouldn't have to take anything apart yet.

There are several Car PC threads here somewhere, at least one has the depth in it IIRC.
Look up the depth of all current Kenwood and Pioneer double-dins. They all fit, but some require cutting out a small plastic bracket that supports the oem radio. With that bracket removed, even the deepest Kenwood or Pioneer still has about 1/2" clearance.
