Help: AVIC Z150BH always on mute
Help!
I'm just installing my AVIC Z150 BH with the C2R-GM24 adapter in my 2007 Z06. I connected everything according to the manual (RCA inputs even though I have a non Bose).
When I turn the unit on I can see the Speaker disabled/off always on (see pic), I hear no sound and cannot change it....what could I have done wrong??

There's a yellow/black wire on the radio wire harness, it shouldn't be connected anywhere. Make sure the end is taped and not touching anything.
Also make sure the blue/white wire from the radio is connected to the blue wire at pin B3 of the C2R-GM24. That's what turns on the oem amp.

take the yellow/black wire... slice the harness plug open in the white connector.... carefully move pin one slot over to left ... Then take the green parking brake wire, black (ground) and yellow/black mute wire and connect together... Then take all three and connect to black wire in c2r-gm24! This will give you your bypass for dvd nav and eliminate problem with mute.
