Default Trouble shooting

I bought the new Kenwood DNN990HD for my 2010 GS Manual trans. I trying to add a Kenwood CMOS300 backup camera. The problem I'm having is howto wire it so that when I go to reverse the screen switches to view the rear view camera. I'm using a Metra VT-GMOS-04 Factory Integration Adapter and have wire it according to instruction. Any help would be great.

The HU purple wire needs to be connected to the light green wire in the passenger footwell, check out first pic in post #2 HERE

There may also be a setting on the HU to enable it, and possibly one you need to set for +12v (vs. ground) to trigger the camera.

Markcz thanks it worked like champ. I made 1 improvement instead of taping into the wiring harness I got an add a fuse and installed it into the reverse light fuse with a 2amp fuse. Thanks again
