Replace C6 Bose in steps?
Can you replace a bose system in steps?
Like, can I buy a new head unit and add a sub/amp and then replace speakers and add amps later?
Or add only a sub to a Bose system?

Like, can I buy a new head unit and add a sub/amp and then replace speakers and add amps later? Yes we can help you with all the items and explain how to do this. I would also put in a 5 channel amp when doing the sub install then your ready to amp new speakers later without having to add an additional amp

How many speakers are used in an upgrade?
Looks like there are a total of 7 stock speakers and one in the middle of the dash, I'm not sure what to do with that.
2 in each door and one behind each seat
I could see using only a 10" bass in the rear,

Dash speaker is removed. The two door speakers are replaced with a component matched set which is usually a 6.5 woofer in lower hole and a tweeter for upper hole. Rear speakers are users choice I generally skip them. Then a sub in back
