Default Hertz speakers

I have a C6 coupe with an upgraded system. I currently have JL C5-650 components up front and JL XR-525 coax in back powered with a JL 450/4v2 with 150w going to each side in the doors and 75w to each rear fill. Out back theres a JL Stealthbox 10w3 powered with a JL 300/2v2. I listen to mostly classic rock and I usually like it loud. It sounded great for 3 years, the JL speakers are very clear and clean sounding even when cranked to 11. Never had a problem with them until a couple weeks ago when I fried one of the C5's. They're rated for only like 85w RMS and I guess the amps extra power cooked it.

Now Im looking to replace them with components that are quality and can handle a good deal more power than the C5's. In my research I came across Hertz speakers and all reviews I've see say they're very good. Im specifically looking at their HSK 165 components. They're right in the price range Im willing to fork over at this time and they're rated for 125W RMS and 250 peak. Should be able to handle the wattage I want to feed them. Does anyone here have any experience with Hertz and specifically the HSK's?

Hertz are good speakers but in thge same price range I would look at Hybrid Audio. In my opinion they are a better sound. I would look at the Clarus line wich is there high end component that comes all in one set. You can get the Legatia but then you are in to the real high end and are all seperate. At one time DD was selling them but not sure if he still does.

I have those exact speakers in my c5 front doors and I haven't listened to any better sounding speakers, pushing them with an ARC amp and Sony xav 701hd head unit.
