C5 Stereo upgrade!!
The old saying is true.... "no highs, no lows it must be Bose!!"
So far ive ripped out everything starting with the head unit and replaced it with an old trusty single din Pioneer Deh-p6000UB that has an AUX input,USB, 4V preouts and a 7 band EQ. I find mid/high level pioneers to be my favorite headunits because they are dead reliable, sound great and can achieve high volume without distortion, easy to use and have good features!

Next i ditched the worthless front door speakers and replaced with some Polk Audio DXI650 6.5's in some custom door plates and ran all new wires from the speakers to the headunit. Got a KILLER deal on the speakers, they were on sale at bestbuy.com for $39 and they sound AWESOME!!

To my surprise the rear speakers were already replaced by the previous owner with some infinity Kappa 62.1's so i left those alone (wondered why they sounded so good)
Next i wanted a sub and amp, i originally wanted to go with JL audio but i ended up going with Alpine because i got a good deal on on it. I got the amp on sale at Crutchfield for $129 shipped and the sub from sonic electronics for $89 shipped!!

Im pretty OCD about my wiring!!

And YES the targa top fits with NO ISSUES whatsoever, heres the proof!!

I don't drive my C5 garage queen enough to justify a high end stereo system, but yours seems affordable and current. Does the Head unit support SXM and/or blue tooth? Thanks
