Bose CDM question
I just finished getting all 4 amps repaired and will be installing a JVC KW-HDR81BT Double-DIN, a Metra 70-1857 Tuner Relocation and Bose Integration Harness & a Metra 99-3051 Single DIN / Double DIN ISO-Mount Installation Kit.
My question is, will I have to disconnect & remove the CDM from under the glove box or does this harness bypass it anyway?
All the new items I bought look like a simple plug and play.
I tried searching for info on this. Is there a write up on doing this swap and keeping the Bose speakers?
I've did radio installations in the pass, so I'm not scared to tackle this. I just want to get all my ducks in a row before taking the dash apart.

I think the bypass will work without a need to remove the CDM. IIRC the CDM is still needed to signal the Bose amps to come on.
The only thing that I know needs to be changed is the antenna wire. I believe it needs to be extended to the back of your new radio.
