Default DNX9990hd audio speaker settings?

Hey guys. Any of you guys know the best speaker settings for the corvette? I put no specific car type (compact, minivan etc) and right now i put the front door speakers at "oem" with large tweeter and the xover at 70. The back speakers at 6" (even though they're 5 1/4") and the xover at 80. Am i doing this right? A while ago all the settings i had got erased and it sounded like crap the last few months until i realized it was the settings, not just the EQ.... Any help is appreciated!!

PS i have the bose system, kicker speaker upgrade but kept the bose subs in the doors

Put the fronts on full signal (HPF and LPF both off), the oem amp gets the sub signal from the fronts and has it's own internal x-over for the twiddlers.

Rears at HPF of 80 should be good.

How do you like the Kenwood DNX9990hd head unit? I'm looking at that HU myself only plan a complete change out.

I love it, except for the issue i'm having with the screen going white. I narrowed down the issue to the ribbon cable connecting the faceplate to the unit. I'm sure it will be fixed under warranty but I dont want to lose the unit till the end of summer... If you can find it somewhere buy it, it's great. I like it over the new DNN990 (or whatever it is) because i don't need to waste more money on an internet plan for my car radio that i'm hardly ever in....

I completely agree....I was looking at the DNN9990hd at first but since I would have to upgrade my data plan to create a Wi-Fi hotspot to make the Wi-Fi work I didn't see the point. Bluetooth streaming is enough for me. That sucks about your screen!!!

Right now my decision is between the Kenwood DNX890HD eXcelon and the one that you have.
