Stock light wire color?
Anyone know what color the light dimming wire is on the stock radio wiring harness? I'm not using the PAC adapter...

Then, where does the violet reverse wire go from the head unit? There's so any posts, I'm confused! You I trust. I'm down to the "wire" on my complete install. Thanks again....

Purple wire from HU needs to be connected to wire that powers reverse bulbs. Run a wire back to rear of car or find it in the footwell, post #2 HERE has a pic of the wire.
That wire is what makes your HU automatically switch to the rear camera when you're in reverse.
You have two choices for powering the camera:
1 - Connect both + and ground to backup lights, which will only let you see video when in reverse. (green is +, black is -)
2 - Connect + to a switched power source so you can manually push buttons on HU to view rear video while driving forward. You can use red wire in interface adapter that powers up HU as your switched source.
