C5 ACC Power Fuse #10?
In my last '04 I ran my power lead to fuse #22, but that location sucks because it's not on in acc. I just went out and switched my power lead to fuse #10 windshield wipers. That powers radio in acc. My question is do I have to splice in an additional fuse for protection? I just pushed bare wire in with fuse #10. Thanks for any help...

It's not a bad idea to put the recommended size fuse in line after the oem fuse.
The risk either way is if your radio pulls enough current to pop the wiper fuse while they're both on. In a bad storm that could get hairy
You could put a 5a larger fuse in the wiper fuse slot, or leave original fuse and add a relay. Use wiper fuse to pull in relay, then use fused wire from B+ to power radio through relay contacts.

Thanks for your reply Mark. I actually got info for acc on fuse #10 from one of your threads. Can't drive a Corvette in the rain anyway, right?
