This last weekend my son and I were given a new C-7 to drive for the weekend Waaa HOOO
The back up camera is included as as base equipment on the car (level three car)as some say is required on all 2014 cars.
Anyway this camera is awesome as you turn the wheel backing up it moves a grid showing you projected route.
Anyone know if other cameras do this or is it integrated with the nav system some way.
Also if you don't order the nav system how does the back up camera work if the above is true and you don't have the nav system

The "bending lines" are a function of the cars EPS, so since older cars don't have EPS (and since the aftermarket can't yet tap into CAN to get the Steering Angle data) the answer would be no, this is a new car only feature (it will be quite common in the next year or so).
